About BOMBANANA! Guide

Last updated: July 6, 2026

I started this site in June 2026 — one person, working through the BOMBANANA! Steam demo and taking notes. What I kept running into was teams failing not from lack of effort, but from skipping the signal agreement before the round started. That breakdown isn't documented anywhere in a form you can act on before you launch the game.

Why these guides exist

Most demo teams don't fail because they lack information. They fail because the coordination structure is genuinely unusual: one player handles all inputs without seeing anything, one holds the manual but can't speak, one can hear and see but can't interact. The breakdown points are predictable once you know where to look. Each guide here documents those specific failure modes and what to agree on before the round starts — not just role descriptions.

What this site covers

The role guides, session checklists, and game comparison tools are built around one question: what does a player actually need to decide or prepare right now? Pages are structured around decision frameworks and reusable checklists rather than Steam descriptions. If you're deciding between roles or need a pre-session checklist, the Guides section is where to start.
