BOMBANANA! Guides

Last updated: July 7, 2026

BOMBANANA! is hard for a reason most teams do not expect: the difficulty is not the puzzles, it is the handoffs. One player operates the bomb but cannot see it, one reads the manual but cannot speak, and one can see and speak but cannot hear the replies. Every piece of information has to cross at least one of those gaps before anyone can act — and no setting turns the gaps off. Teams that fail usually fail at a handoff, not at a module.

That is what these guides are for. Each one takes a specific place the chain breaks — a rushed callout, a misread signal, a manual answer that lands too late — and gives the team one habit that closes it. Match the problem you actually have to the page that fixes it.

If you are brand new and want the whole first-session story in order, start with How to Play instead — that page walks the arc from start to finish. This hub is for when you already know your specific problem and just need routing.

Every guide here focuses on public Steam information, beginner coordination, and clear evidence boundaries. For reference material beyond how-to guides — roles, demo access, PC specs, release window, and module evidence — see the related sections at the end.

If you searched for the manual

If your search was about the BOMBANANA! manual, note that this site does not copy or replace an official manual. For turning rule-like information into action, start with Manual Flow; for the role that reads the manual, Mute Monkey; for what module evidence is confirmed, Puzzle Modules.

Match your problem to a page

Match the problem your team actually has. Each row names the habit that page builds — so even the takeaway alone tells you what changes, before you open the link.

About to start your first game tonight. First-Session Checklist Run a fixed pre-round sequence — access, roles, signals — before the timer, so setup mistakes do not surface mid-bomb.
Have never played and want the whole picture. How to Play Treat the game as a communication handoff, not a puzzle to memorize.
Talk over each other during a bomb. Demo Callouts Give every callout the same shape, module first, so the team can tell a fact from a question from an action.
Know the answer but lose it in transmission. Team Communication Find which link in the chain broke, and confirm before acting instead of stacking instructions.
Need the words fast, mid-round. Communication Card Keep one fixed signal set with a single meaning each for the whole round.
Confused by manual or rule-like clues. Manual Flow Move clue, rule, confirmation, action in one direction rather than all at once.
Searching for a demo download, APK, or access. Steam Demo Setup Get the demo only from Steam; it is a desktop demo, so any APK is unofficial.

These are not how-to guides, so they live in their own sections — but a guide often points here next. Use them for reference, not first-session setup.
